Introducing Innovation Learning Camps

Many summer camps are either canceled or postponed for this year. 

Or maybe you want to stay at home this summer, but either way, that doesn't mean the summer fun can't still happen.

If you're like most parents, you want to keep your child off video games and  see your child playing and enjoy being a kid. 

But you also want to see your child learning and progressing their skills.

As our world moves at a faster pace with technology, we can't predict what the future will look like for our children.

But we can help prepare them and give them the skills they will need to be successful, skills such as creativity, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving.

Our children will need to know how to solve problems and create unique solutions to help the future advancement of our global society.

Summertime is the perfect time to work on developing these skills that many times are lacking in today's education system.

But I get it....you most likely just completed almost two months (or more) of "distance-learning," and you may be feeling like you just don't have the energy to keep the online learning going.

Innovation Learning Camp is a virtual online learning experience designed using our unique framework that combines creativity, innovation, and hands-on fun, all while from the safety of your own home.

When I was teaching in the classroom, I noticed that my students could follow directions and guides on activities, but struggled to think critically and creatively. On my very first day in the classroom, I had a hands-on style lesson prepared and was shocked to find my students didn’t know what to do because they had never experienced an open-ended project. That’s when I threw out everything I know about teaching. 

Now, I’m very passionate about changing this approach to education at all levels because it’s so important to teach students at any age to think critically and find their own voice.

Innovation Learning Camp

Each innovation learning camp is designed based on a kid friendly theme and consists of five different innovation challenges (i*challenges) as well as five innovation explorations (i*explorations) that you can move through at your own pace.

All videos and tutorials are recorded so you can implement it when it's convenient for you and your family's schedule. 

Our first two innovation learning camps are Fairy Camp and Superhero Camp.

i*Challenges (Innovation Challenges) are designed to help your child work through the problem-solving steps using our signature Mind-Body-Heart Framework.

i*Explorations (Innovation Explorations) are sensory-rich experiences that allow your child to play and make discoveries using their senses. This also is a great place to start with younger learners.

i*Coach (Innovation Coach) is like having a helpful guide next to you as you encourage and guide your child.

Play is an essential part of innovating.

It is through play new ideas are born and created.

What is included with registration?

Registration includes both Innovation Learning Camps: Fairy Camp & Superhero Camp (camps will go live June 1st).

Each Innovation Learning Camp includes:

Fairy Camp

Build and design your own magical fairy and take your fairy on an adventure as you build, create and design fairy houses, ziplines,  gardens, and more. 

Superhero Camp

Design your own superhero with special superhero powers. Use your superhero to help solve new challenges and showcase your superheroes strengths and talents.
